Technical Expert LNG (M/F) – Marseille

Diveintar Marine is recruiting for our client, a french shipping company, a Technical Expert LNG (M/F)

Joining the Technical Ship Expert team, you would be in charge of advising the different teams (Fleet Management, Procurement, New building etc) and managing issues on subjects related to the Company’s LNG vessels.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You shall:

• Comply with IMS and all relevant international rules and regulations;

• Ensure all your duties in accordance with quality, health, safety, environmental and ethics policies;

• Propose a continuous performance improvement plan which will be reported and reviewed on a periodical basis;

• Provide expertise support for the LNG systems to the fleet management and ships;

• Propose solutions to optimize vessels’ maintenance, design and operation;

• Ensure technical communication outside the Company to promote the technical skills;

Note: You may represent the Company in various meetings, conferences, public institutions, etc;

• Closely work with R&D department of our suppliers for improvement;

• Accumulate and share the experience across the fleets;

• Prepare information and feedbacks to the fleets;

• Know the supplier network and establish a good relation between societies;

• Establish medium and long term strategy;

Minimum qualifications

• Expert knowledge for LNG systems required(energy, oil&gas)

• Fluent in English;

• Master’s degree in engineering;

• Management or Project management skills;

• Technically competent with various software programs, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc;

Experience

3 to 5 years’ experience as 2nd Engineer/Chief Engineer or in fleet management.

• Effective verbal, written and presentation skills;

• Ability to work both independently and in a team-based environme

Permanent contract based in Marseille.

Salary wage: from 60KE up to 80KE
